2024-25 Kindergarten Registration and Enrollment

Kindergarten is for children five years old on or before September 1, 2024

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is for children five years old between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025.

Kindergarten registration packets are available now at the KCUSD District Office located at 104 S. Vanderhurst Avenue King City, CA 93930.

Registration Details:

  • Registration is NOT first come, first served

  • Registration is scheduled by appointment

  • Beginning Monday, March 25, 2024, contact the district office at: call (831) 385-2940 Ext. 3017 or walk-in to schedule an appointment.

  • Registration packets available at the district office and school sites offices March 11th - March 22nd. After March 22nd, registration packets will only be available at the district office.

  • For Dual Language Instruction Classes (TK-K) the registration window is from February 26th -March 8th. Parents are required to attend a DLI parent meeting before their child is eligible to register.

Items needed with registration:

  • Proof of Age (Birth/Baptismal Certificate or Passport)

  • Proof of Required Immunizations

  • Proof of Residency (Driver's License, Utility Bill, Etc. (With name and street address)

  • Parents and/ or Guardians Identification (Driver's License, ID Card, Passport, or Out of Country ID)

New Student Registration and Enrollment

To register your children in the King City Union School District you must provide the following:

  • Birth Certificate, pass Port or Baptismal Certificate

  • Current Immunization Card

  • Proof of Residency - Documents that are accepted are one of the following: PG&E Bill, Water Bill, Signed Lease Agreement or a notarized letter with the name of the children who will be attending school in our district, parent(s) name and the person's name and address where you reside.

  • Parent or Guardian Identification

Down load the registration packet and return the completed forms to the King City Union School District located at 104 S. Vanderhurst Avenue King City, CA 93930. Our office hours are M-F 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
