All Licensed Contractors are Invited to Request Inclusion on the King City Union School District Bidders List. Responses are due no later than 2:00 p.m. (PDT) Monday, November 20, 2023.

Notice is hereby given that the King City Union School District has elected to participate in the California Uniform Public construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). Public projects, as defined by this Act and in accordance with the limits listed in Section 22032 of the Public Contract Code, will be allowed to contract by informal procedures as set forth in Sections 22032-22045 of the Public Contract Code. All licensed contractors are invited to submit the name of their firm to the District for inclusion in the District's list of qualified bidders for 2023 and Calendar Year 2024 (November 2023 through December 2024).

All contractors are to be in full compliance with the current Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) requirements found in Labor Code Section 1725.5 and 1773.3. All Contractors and subcontractors who bid or work on public works projects must register with the DIR.

This announcement is published in various trade journals as a requirement of the California Uniform Public Construction Accounting Procedures to establish and maintain a list of qualified contractors.
